The 2019 New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association / New Mexico CowBelles /IAC Southwestern Youth Regional Summit; New Mexico State University Short Course and the New Mexico Wool Growers, Inc. and New Mexico Federal Lands Council Annual Meeting are just around the corner. This largest mid-year gathering of New Mexico agriculture is scheduled for June 9 through 11 at the Ruidoso Convention Center in Ruidoso, New Mexico.

Already it has been a busy year, but we hope that you can take some time out of your busy schedule to come and join us in some of the events we have to offer; bring the whole family!  We are happy to have IAC Southwest Youth Regional Summit join us this year.  New Mexico CowBelles have new activities planned to help promote beef as well as our Policy and Issues Sessions, Ladies Luncheon and NMSU Short Course, so there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy.  As always, there will be a good mix of fun and learning to make this event worth your time.

We are excited to have Tom Deweese, American Policy Center be the Keynote speaker addressing Constitutional Rights.  Other topics of interest to be addressed include Drones and Ranching, Property Rights and Who Speaks For Ag?…In New Mexico and the nation.

We will highlight the 2019 Legislative Session, bills that passed and those that were vetoed, along with legislative issues that continue to be a concern and attack our lands and way of life.  The 2020 Elections are MORE IMPORTANT than ever!!!  It is never too early to start discussing who WE want to represent us both in the Roundhouse and on Capitol Hill.  New Mexico agriculture has strived to not only preserve our way of life but to enhance our livelihoods in providing food and fiber for all Americans.  NMCGA and NMWGI are proud of our members for all they do both on and off the ranch to achieve this goal.

As you can see, we need your input to develop policy to fight these issues!  Throw all that in with the Bud Eppers & Les Davis Memorial Golf Tournament, where we cowboys get out our golf sticks at least once a year, along with good food, fun and fellowship, and a good time should be had by all!  Please make your reservations and registrations TODAY!

Hope to see you there!
